“Two Ways to Make Intercession”
(Not Just One Way)

I.          PRAY THE WORD WHEN YOU KNOW THE SITUATION

A.       Pray specific Scriptures about specific situations to get specific results.

B.       As you grow in Prayer, let the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit quicken to you Scriptures to pray in a situation.

II.         PRAY IN TONGUES WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SITUATION--Romans 8:26,27

A.        There are times that the visible need is only the symptom of the real, unseen problem.

1.         Help - take hold together against

2.         Infirmity - our inability to produce results (Vines)

3.         Answer - tongues and groanings in the spirit

B.        Tongues -- I Corinthians 14:14 (Amp)

1.         Stammering lips - Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 28:11,12

C.        Groaning and travail in the spirit

1.         Groaning - 4726 from 4727 stenazo - to make in straits; to sigh, murmur, pray inaudibly (with grief, groan) grudge (see Ya’akov (James) 5:9)

Example:  “Yeshua groaning within himself” - Yochanan (John) 11:38

groaning - 1690 - to snort with anger, indignation, to blame, to sigh with chagrin

2.         Travail - 5999 - toil, wearing effort, pain

a.         Yeshua - “travail of his soul” - Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 53:11

b.         Zion - Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 66:8,9 - 2342 - means to twist in pain, bear, bring forth

*1)      The Assembly Both Houses Of Israel is spiritual Zion - Hebrews 12:18, 22, 23

  2)       As in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.

3.         Galatians 4:19 - Paul travailed

a.         Too often “conversions” are not real births

b.         False labor - Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 26:16-18 (in sin and disobedience - crying)

III.       EVIL SPIRITS ARE CAST OUT:

            A.        Mark 16:17  In My Name

            B.        Revelation 12:11  Blood of the Lamb

            C.        Mattityahu (Matthew) 12:28  Spirit of YHWH
