  1. HELPS IN PREPARING AND PRESENTING A FORMAL PETITION

  1. Go to YHWH’s Word

  1. If you are going to go to City Hall to present a petition, you should find out first what they have already said about it.

  1. Write the Petition on Paper

  1. Petition: 1.  A solemn, earnest request; entreaty.

                                                2.  A formal document embodying such a request.

  1. It is a source of discipline and steadying.  You can refer to it to keep your petition fresh in your thinking.

  1. Prepare Yourself - Spirit, Soul and Body - To Present It.

  1. Use Your Spiritual Imagination.  See Yourself Before the Father Making the Petition.

  2. Take Time to Worship and Thank the Father for Granting You Your Petition.

  1. Philippians 4:6 (Amp),  “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition [definite requests] with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to YHWH.”

  3.  (persist:  to refuse to give up, especially when faced with opposition.)
