I.          BE NOT SLOTHFUL:  3576 - nothros (no-thros’)

            Shof’tim (Judges) 18:9,10 - sluggish, lazy, stupid, dull

  1. Dull of Hearing:  Dull - 3576
    (some or slothful)  - Hebrews 5:11
    Slothful:  idleness - inactive - slow - passive

II.         SLOTHFUL OF HEARING - THE LAZY LISTENER:  Hebrews 5:11

  1. Dull of Hearing:  Those Who Do Nothing with What They Hear

  1. Are we to follow “those who do nothing” or “those who inherit”

  1. “Be Ye Doers & Not Just Hearers”:  Ya’akov (James) 1:22

  2. Forgetful Hearer:  Ya’akov (James) 1:25

III.       HEARING & DOING:  Mattityahu (Matthew) 7:24-27

  1. At Thy Word - I Will Do It:  Luke 5:1-7

    “When they did what Yeshua said, they experienced what Yeshua  said.”

  2. Faith Cometh by hearing:  Romans 10:17

  3. Be Ye Doers of the Word:  Ya’akov (James) 1:22

IV.       FAITH & PATIENCE

  1. Faith without Works is Dead:  Ya’akov (James) 2:17,20

  2. No Profit with Faith without Works:  Ya’akov (James) 2:14

  3. Shew Me Thy Faith:  Ya’akov (James) 2:18

  1. How?  By the corresponding action.

  1. By Works is Faith Made Perfect:  Ya’akov (James) 2:22
