HEALING
Mark 5:25-34
“Do What the Woman with the Issue of Blood Did”

INTRODUCTION: Here was a woman who, for 12 years, suffered of an obviously incurable sickness.   Having spent all her money on medical bills, not only was she broke, but worse now.  Yet somehow, this same woman obtained such a strong faith that she made a demand on the power of YHWH that brought total and immediate deliverance.  How?  By operating Bible principles that will work for you.

PRINCIPLE #1:  “She heard of Yeshua.”

  1. Romans 10:1-17 (Sozo - deliverance, safety, healing, soundness)

  1. She not only heard the report, but she believed and received it.

  1. Mark 6:1-6

  1. Teaching destroys unbelief.

  1. I Corinthians 12:1,  “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.”

  1. Teaching destroys ignorance.

  1. Two kinds of ignorance:

                                                1)        just don’t know.

                                                2)        refuses to believe

  1. Hoshea (Hosea) 4:6

PRINCIPLE #2:        “For she said...”

  1. Too often people pray before they are ready.  They pray at the point of pressure, and not faith; then they do not receive.  Preparation was a key!!

  1. Mark 11:23

  1. The first work of confession is building faith in your heart.

  1. Mattityahu (Matthew) 9:21 (KJV)

  1. New American Standard:  “For she was saying to herself...”

  2. Amplified:  “For she kept saying to herself...”

  1. Meditation:  To fix your mind on in deep thought, to mutter.

  1. Mark 4:24 (Amplified), “And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing.  The measure [of though and study] you  give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you, and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”

  1. It was virtue that went out of Yeshua.  It was such a measure that brought immediate deliverance.

  1. Ephesians 5:14-20

  2. It is your choice - you can meditate the answer, or worry over the problem.

  1. Seven Objectives of Meditating YHWH’s Word.

  1. Apply the word to you personally.

  2. Ask the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit to make the Word a reality to your heart.

  3. Carefully ponder how this Word will apply to your life.

  4. Dwell on how this Word changes your situation.

  5. Place yourself in agreement with what YHWH’s Word says about you.

  6. See yourself as YHWH sees you.

  7. Begin to realize the integrity of YHWH’s Word.

  1. Set aside five to fifteen minutes a day to meditate the Word.  As you develop, the time will become longer. 

    Tehillim (Psalm) 1:3 (Amplified),  “And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth his fruit in its season;  his leaf also shall not fade or wither, and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].”

  2. Y’hoshua (Joshua) 1:8  will lead you into Principle #3 - “Observe to Do.”

PRINCIPLE #3:  “If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.”

  1. She Established a Point of Contact to Release Her Faith and Receive From YHWH.

  1. Faith demand action to be released.

  2. A point of contact gave her a conductor through which the power of YHWH could flow.

  1. It is the wire from the power plant to the light that brings the power to you.

  1. Her point of contact got her attention off of her problem onto the answer.

  1. Hebrews 12:2

  2. This helped her have a strong hope:  expectancy.

  1. Her point of contact set the time for the releasing of her faith:

  1. Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is...”

  2. This will bring your faith into the Now, at the time of releasing.

  1. A point of contact established for you a specific point of reference if the answer does not come immediately (finances), or Satan tries to steal it.

  1. Mark 4:14-20

  1. Examples Of a Point of Contact:

  1. David used his slingshot, released his faith and killed Goliath.

  2. Moses released his faith as he raised his rod, and the Red Sea rolled back.

  3. Elijah used his mantle to part the waters.

  4. The Roman centurion used the spoken Word of Yeshua for the healing of his servant.

  5. Jairus used Yeshua’s  hands as a point of contact to get his daughter raised from the dead.

  6. Paul sent out handkerchiefs and aprons.

  7. Some used Peter’s shadow. 

  8. Mark 16:18:  Yeshua said we could use the hands to bring healing.

  9. Mark 11:24:  Yeshua said we could use prayer to receive.

PRINCIPLE #4:“...Came in the press behind, and touched His clothes...”

  1. If Your Believing is Not to the Point of Action, then All It Is is DEAD FAITH.

  2. Ya’akov (James) 2:26

  1. Your Action of Faith May Need to Continue Over a Period of Time,     Such as in Areas of Finances or a Lost Loved One’s Salvation.

  1. Hebrews 10:35-36, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense or reward.  For ye have need of patience (consistency), that, after ye have done the will of YHWH, ye might receive the promise.”

  1. Hebrews 3:7-4:3

  1. They refused to mix faith in the word preached by acting on it, and it kept them from receiving what was ALREADY provided.

  2. If she had never acted on what she was saying, she would have never been healed.

PRINCIPLE #5: “But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him all the truth.”

  1. Fear Runs In the Presence of Faith’s Bold Testimony.

  2. Satan is Going To Try to Steal What You Have Received.

  1. Here is where most people miss it.

  2. Not only do I receive “by faith”, but I maintain what I have - by faith.

  3. Resist symptoms like you do Satan.

  4. Tehillim (Psalm) 107:2
