HEALING
Mark 16:15-20
“Three Levels of Healing”

  1. THREE MAJOR AREAS IN THE STUDY OF DIVINE HEALING.

  1. Healing for the world in the Name of Yeshua.

  2. Healing through the elders for the assembly who has little or no knowledge of the Word.

  3. Healing for the believer who enjoys the fullness of the Gospel.

  1. HEALING FOR THE WORLD IN THE NAME OF YESHUA.

  1. Acts 3:1-10 -- Peter using the Name to set a man free (Yochanan (John) 14:12-14).

  2. Mark 16:15-20

  1. Yeshua  set the assembly against sickness.

  2. Yeshua  confirmed the Word, showing Himself alive.

  3. YHWH will meet men on the level of their need.

  1. Healing is YHWH’s masterstroke of revealing Himself alive to the natural world and to natural - minded believer.

  2. Yeshua  gave the steps to healing.

  1. Mattityahu (Matthew) 13:15

  1. HEALING FOR THE CARNALLY-MINDED BELIEVER WHO HAS LITTLE OR NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD -- I Corinthians 3:1-3.

  1. The Carnal or natural mind is a mind ruled by the senses.

  2. The carnal mind believes only what it can hear, taste, smell, feel or see -- Hebrews 5:13-14.

  3. Healing is provided for the carnally-minded believer -- Ya’akov (James) 5:14

  1. In order for him to believe and receive, he must feel the oil and the hands of the elder and hear the prayer of faith.

  2. He could have confessed his sins to Yeshua  (1 Yochanan (1 John) 1:9) and acted on the Word, if he had known the Word.

  3. Ya’akov (James) 5:16 tells them that they can do their own praying.

  1. HEALING FOR THE BELIEVER WHO ENJOYS THE FULLNESS OF THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM.

  1. Romans 8

  2. Yochanan (John) 20:24-29 -- Thomas’ faith

  3. Romans 4:16 -- Abraham’s faith.

  4. II Corinthians 5:7

  5. Confession brings possession -- Mark 11:23-24.

Observation: Your authority will never be greater than your submission.
