I.          REVELATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

  1. Revelation of Righteousness in the gospel of YHWH Tsidquyah

  1. YHWH Tsidqiyah (one of the seven redemptive names)

  1. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 33:14-16; Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:10 - bondage

  2. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 23:5-6

  3. YHWH Tsidqiyah - 6667 from 6663. Meaning:  to be (causatively make)  right:  trans.  cleanse, clear self, justify (fied. self)  Also means equity  The L-rd our righteousness

  1. I Corinthians 1:30 - Yeshua  our Righteousness

II.         TWO KINDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

  1. Romans 10:3

  1.  Their own - you will have to go about trying to establish it

  1. Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 64:6 - All their/our righteousness’

  2.   Hebrews 6:1 - Repentance from dead works

  3. Romans 9:30 - Wuest says that Judah/Jews earnestly endeavored to acquire a law of righteousness

  4. Titus 3:5 - Not by works of righteousness

  1.  YHWH’s Righteousness - must be submitted to

  1. Must be appropriated by faith - Romans 9:30  Wuest

  2. The gift of righteousness - Romans 5:17  Amp

  3. Galatians 2:16 - Justified or made righteous by faith - cleared of guilt

  4. Tehillim (Psalm) 118:19 - Gates of righteousness opened through Yeshua.  Yochanan (John) 10:10

  5. Put on righteousness when by faith you put on the new man.   Ephesians 4:24;   Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 61:10 - robe of righteousness

III.       EXPERIENCING RIGHTEOUSNESS

  1. Cause and Effect (Result - Amp) - Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 32:17

  1. Work:  Peace

  1. Tehillim (Psalm) 85:10 - Righteousness and Peace kissed

  2. Knowing you’re right with YHWH

  3. Hebrews 7:1-2 - King of Righteousness, King of Peace

  1. Effect:  Quietness and Assurance

  1. Philippians 4:7 - Tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Mashiach

  1. Accepting your acceptance - Ephesians 1:6 YHWH accepts us because He accepts Yeshua.

  1. Accepted in Mashiach (the Beloved)

  2. Accepting your acceptance by faith

  1. II Corinthians 5:21 - you’ve been made the righteousness of YHWH in Mashiach.

IV.       ESTABLISHED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS :  OLD COVENANT ATTAINED BY WORKS - NEW COVENANT RECEIVED BY FAITH
